Every time I want to get raging mad at the New York MTA, I think about the time I waited for Muni for an hour in the dark during a HARSH rainstorm despite the fact that NextBus said it would be there in three minutes.

Did I mention I lived five stops from Balboa Park, so that literally meant they just never released an M train for an hour+?

The Room fans not from/have never been to/have never lived in San Francisco: I lived there for three years and actually got into The Room while there (saw a bunch of showings at the local theater, too), and I’m here to answer a question I know some of you are thinking. And the answer is no. San Francisco is absolutely nothing like the way Tommy portrays it.

There would never be a house like that there (especially one where residents can go on the roof!), the cast of characters would find it terribly difficult to survive there (hence why no one who looks or acts like them live there), I’m pretty sure pizza like the kind Lisa ordered doesn’t exist anywhere but I know for sure it doesn’t exist in SF, no bank there would hire a guy who looks like Johnny, real San Franciscans don’t hang out at the places we see Johnny (the Embarcadero, Union Square and even that coffee shop [which no longer exists there anymore] looks like it’s located in an area near Union Square where, again, residents don’t hang out), and a lot more interesting things happen there than cheating future wives and some guy possibly of extraterrestrial origins.

But why would anyone expect anything less from our belovedly bad gem of a movie?

My 15-year-old niece went missing yesterday afternoon. Last seen near Powell St. wearing cheetah leggings around 3 pm Dec 3. Please let me know if you know anything about her whereabouts. I want to know she’s safe.

This is the niece of one of my friends, and it would mean a lot if any of you could help her out. This is 100 percent real, so please reblog and get the word out there. If you’ve seen her, please contact my friend here. Thanks!

The Irish Bank on Bush street is a well known Irish pub in SF. Maybe their food isn’t 5 stars but hey, it’s a cozy Irish bar in the middle of the cold financial district. Perfect place to catch a drink(s) with friends or watch some soccer games. #steak #mashed #potatoes #mexicanfoodporn #beer #sf #sanfrancisco #booze #heaven #gravy

Ugh, I fucking love the Irish Bank. Missing it so much.
