Guys.
I just realized that the first two episodes of Good Eats were steak and potatoes.
I SEE YOU, ALTON.
I need you Good Eats nerds more than ever. If any of you share my sentiment, like, reblog, clap your hands, do an interpretive dance, give me some sort of sign. I want to prove to everyone that AB has a solid bunch of “groupies” (for lack of a better term) behind him. AND THERE’S NO SHAME IN THAT.
Just rewatched the taco episode of “Good Eats.” I didn’t realize how awful Alton’s Spanish was. It’s cute.
Can we talk about this?? You know, how Alton Brown is my HERO?
You tell ‘em, AB. Liberal arts grads, represent!
BRB LOSING MY FUCKING SHIT OVER HERE

can we talk about how alton made up a superhero called the waffler who breaks into peoples’ houses and steals their frozen waffles and teaches us how to make good homemade waffles gsddkgjdfjkfjhdfh
This man only makes me love him more with each passing day. Can’t believe I almost forgot about the Waffler!

ALTON, PLEASE.

Oh, whatever. I’m going to get drunk and watch Good Eats and say fuck this day.
Alton, save me.
Fellow AB fans, you are welcome to talk to me here. We can fangirl Alton if you like.
Can everyone please take the time to remember that Alton Brown wished me a happy birthday and immortalized it in my book along with his autograph!?
Quick story: I was going to university in San Francisco, and about a month before my 20th birthday I realized he was going to be in San Diego on my exact b-day. I am originally from LA, two hours north. So I bought a plane ticket to LA to arrive the night before. I woke up the next morning and drove with my friend two hours to wait in line to meet my hero. While in line, a Costco employee gave all the fans a post-in on which to write the correct spelling of their names.
“I almost want to write that it’s my birthday,” I said in cheeky fashion.
“Do it!” my friend said.
So I did.
When I met AB, he said: “It’s your birthday!?” to which I shyly responded “Yes.”
“Happy birthday!” he smiled.
He was the coolest, sweetest, most charming individual I ever had the pleasure of meeting. The end.
